James Thornton, Mannford, and Iris Hudgins, Cushing, are retiring from their duties at Central Technology Center to hit the road with their respective spouses and see America . Thornton is retiring after 19 years on the custodial staff at the Drumright campus, while Hudgins is retiring after 16 years in the Business Manager's office.

The Central Tech retirees were honored by their colleagues during lunch Friday, Dec. 19 th , before the school recesses for the annual Winter break. Fellow staff members shared amusing stories from their past years of service with each retiree and each was given a special plaque commemorating their service at the school.

Interestingly, both Thornton and his wife Heddy, as well as Hudgins and her husband Jack, have purchased motor homes and plan to travel extensively soon after discarding their alarm clocks.
