: Full-time day-time classes begin the Fall semester August 18 th and there will be several new faces on the faculty of Central Technology Center at campuses in Drumright and Sapulpa .
Sapulpa campus director David Main has announced that Brian Babcock will be joining his staff as Network Administration instructor. Babcock was previously employed at Decision One, Tulsa . Joining Babcock on the Sapulpa campus will be Mary Fry R.N. and Katy Gregory R.N. Fry is a Practical Nursing instructor, former employed at Tulsa 's St John Hospital . Gregory is a Health Careers Certifications instructor and was formerly with the Oklahoma State University Healthcare Center in Tulsa .
Two additional new faces at Sapulpa are Diana Plummer, PLC and Lewis Bruner. Plummer will serve as Career Advisor. Diana was formerly a counselor at Jenks High School . Bruner joins the Supported Employment Program staff at Sapulpa as an employment specialist.
Drumright campus director Dr. Anita Reynolds and her faculty welcome Tammy Silkwood R.N. as an instructor in the expanded Health Careers Certifications program on the Drumright campus. Silkwood was previously a supervisor with the Warren Clinic in Stillwater . Two more Registered Nurses joining the Drumright staff are Paula Ballard R.N., and Alana Anderson R.N. Ballard is now serving as an instructor as well as program coordinator for the Practical Nursing program. Ballard was formerly with the Continuous Care Center , Sapulpa . Anderson , formerly with Homecall Healthcare in Stillwater , is an instructor in the Drumright campus PN program.
Bob Monachella, formerly with Yellow Transportation Co., has joined the instructional staff in the Truck Driver Training program at Central Tech. Bob has over thirty years of experience as an over-the-road driver.
Tiffany American Horse has joined the Central Tech faculty at Drumright as instructor for the new Business & Computer Technology program. Tiffany holds a National Board Certification in Career and Technology Education and seven years previous experience as a teacher at Union Public Schools. Her husband, Mark, is the Criminal Justice instructor at Central Tech in Sapulpa .
Construction is just about completed on both Central Tech campuses in anticipation of the Aug. 18th opening day rush. A newly paved parking facility will greet students and visitors at the Sapulpa campus as well as a redesigned Practical Nursing and Health Careers Certification lab and classroom area.
An enlarged Health Careers Certifications program at Drumright required renovation of two instructional areas this summer while workers were also busy with renovation work in the Cosmetology program area. The smell of roofing tar has wafted over the Drumright campus during July and August as workmen have been busy re-roofing the main building on campus. |
