Central Tech Sapulpa Students
Win Awards at Leadership Conference

Three Central Tech Sapulpa Campus students won top honors in the recent Spring Leadership Conference for CareerTech students held at Okmulgee . The annual conference for demonstration of leadership skills is sponsored by the Business Professionals of America student organization.

Susan Graves, Sapulpa , won First Place in Legal Office Procedures competition and Second Place in Extemporaneous Speech Post-Secondary division. Classmate Kim Pitts won Third Place in Legal Office Procedures in that division. Loni Payne won 5th place in Spreadsheet Applications & Analysis, Post-Secondary.

High school students in Susann Shanahan 's classes at Central Tech who won top honors at Oklmulgee included Bethany Auld, Second Place in Medical Office Procedures; and Timber Akins, Kellyville, won 10th place in the same competition.

Susan Graves will be eligible to compete April 22-26 in the 2005 National BPA Leadership Conference to be held in Anaheim, California.

Also attending the Okmulgee meet were Kandice Crone, Secondary Fundamental Accounting; Connie Dale, Post Secondary Fundamental Accounting; Sara Holt, Secondary Desktop Publishing; Rebecca Barbee, Secondary Spreadsheet Applications & Analysis; and Ashley Hold, Secondary Prepared Speech.
