Twenty-four students in the Practical Nursing Program at Central Tech-Drumright celebrated Thursday evening, December 15th, as classes ended and graduation rites began.

Highlights of the evening included awards to the Outstanding Classroom Students of the Year: Vickie Quaid, Stroud (AM class) and Pamela Gilleland, Cushing (PM class); Outstanding Clinical Students of the Year: Vickie Quaid and Tammy Jantz, Cushing (PM class); and Overall Students of the Year: Vickie Quaid and Tammy Jantz.

After a year of intense studies and clinical practice at area hospitals and other healthcare facilities, the commencement exercises signaled the end of formal instruction and the arrival of the final State Board Exam that will propel each into a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
