TECH HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTEES
NAMED at SAPULPA

Thirty-four students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society in ceremonies Thursday evening, May 12th, in the Seminar Center at Central Technology Center in Sapulpa. Twenty-seven were inducted for the first time while seven were admitted for their second consecutive year.

The purpose of the National Technical Honor Society is to promote service, leadership, honesty, community involvement, career development and skilled workmanship among CareerTech students of all ages. The organization, and its local chapters, also endeavors to reward student achievement and promote a stronger linkage between local career technology institutions and business and industry.

To be eligible for induction into the National Technical Honor Society at Sapulpa, students must maintain an “A” grade average in their career training program at Central Tech, have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average at their home school if a high school student, maintain a 97% attendance record each semester at Central Tech and perform at least ten yours of community service.
