Certified Nurse Aide Class Graduates

Central Tech Drumright Campus held a graduation ceremony on April 19th for the Certified Nurse Aide students completing the program under the Adult Career Development division. There is a high demand for employees with Long-Term Care/Home Health Certified Nurse Aide certification. Residential care facilities, assisted living centers, hospitals, clinics and especially home health agencies are looking for staff with direct patient care knowledge, strong work ethic and sincere compassion.

These students completed 112 hours of training, including hands-on clinical work in an actual nursing facility. They also received training in CPR, patient care methods, human anatomy, nutrition, medical terminology and infection control. Each student will receive dual certification as a Long-Term Care Nurse Aide and a Home Health Aide, granted by the Oklahoma State Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry.

The next Certified Nurse Aide program will begin on May 22nd. To learn more about this class and other Central Tech healthcare education programs, please call the Adult Career Development office at (918) 352-2551, ext. 260.
