Central Tech's Business Development Center is partnering with local Chambers to offer an informative seminar to business owners. This seminar will be delivered to several communities throughout the month of May providing businesses with information on how to hire the right people.
Making the correct hiring decision is one of the most important decisions any business person will ever make. This interactive and informative presentation will discuss the cost of hiring the wrong people and losing the right people. “Employee turnover is a problem that can plague any business. It is also a problem that can be overcome in a few simple steps,” says seminar speaker, Steven Taylor of Workforce Oklahoma/City of Tulsa .
This presentation will also discuss the recently launched Oklahoma Career Ready Certificate, a tool designed to help employers more easily identify the skills of their current and potential workforce. The Oklahoma Career Ready Certificate is based on the WorkKeys Assessment System developed by ACT, the same company famous for their college entrance exam.
“Come spend an hour with us and learn about this exciting new tool. This could be the most productive hour you spend all year!” invites Taylor .
